BACKGROUND
Formed in January 2008 to meet the demand for increasingly more complex LED optical systems in the area of general commercial lighting, LEDOS gathered together a group of the most experienced and skilled lighting professionals in the industry. LEDOS employees average 18+ years of advanced optical development & system integration experience and hail mainly from the global auto industry where the demand for highly technical and aesthetically sophisticated lighting systems are the greatest. Years of dedicated service to the development of advanced lighting systems provides LEDOS with the capabilities and skills needed to meet the ever increasing requirements of the commercial optical engineering environment.
HISTORY
1Q 2009 LEDOS designed and developed the first Type III med throw magnetic induction lamp known world-wide.
2Q 2009 LEDOS designed, developed and in 3Q 2010 is in manufacture of a unique post top LED light engine retro fit for major global client which received high praise at NY Light Fair.
3Q 2009 LEDOS completed development for a premium LED Wall Pack design which is now available for license.
4 Q 2009 LEDOS received provisional patents for the “Powered by LEDOS LED Bulb” and multiple linear lighting designs known as “Powered by LEDOS – Line o Lite”.
2 Q 2010 LEDOS began production of custom light engine for global client.
2Q 2010 LEDOS began beta stage testing of the Powered by LEDOS LED Bulb in the following area: Dearborn, Chelsea, Canton, Auburn Hills, Wixom and Macomb County
2Q 2010 LEDOS registered for DOE Lighting Facts partnership
2Q 2010 LEDOS submitted Powered by LEDOS – LED Bulb for LM 79 testing inside commonly used acorn post top fixtures.
3 Q 2010 LEDOS applied for patent protection covering the unique “post top retrofit” design which replaces Metal Halide and High Pressure Sodium traditional sources known as “ Powered by LEDOS – LED Bulb”
3 Q 2010 Additional Beta Test sites include: Warren, Spring Lake, Muskegon.
3Q 2010 Production availability of Powered by LEDOS – LED Bulb.

EXPERIENCE
Mr. Schneider has 27 years experience in design and engineering leadership; 24 years experience directly related to vehicle lighting. His lighting career began at Chrysler in 1985 and his experience includes several major automotive lighting tier one suppliers such as Valeo, North American Lighting, Schefenacker and Visteon. Positions held include: General Manager, Director of Engineering and Director of Research & Development. His success has been marked by the many engineering and development teams he assembled and directed that advanced the technology for automotive lighting systems. In 1990, Ingo led the first free form headlamp team for forward lighting. His global experience includes work performed with German, Japanese, and other Asian and foreign auto makers to establish common standards and vehicle lighting requirements. Contributions include identification and validation of several advanced technologies within vehicle lighting systems including fiber optics; High Intensity Discharge and LED light engines. In January of 2008, he established and co- founded LED Optical Solutions, LLC.
RECOGNITION
In 1993 Mr. Schneider received a recognition award from Ford Motor Company for his team’s efforts to acquire Q1 status. In 2008 he received team recognition for a first to market “Light Pipe Design” marketed on the 2008 Cadillac CTS, Motor Trend Car of the Year. Ingo was a team member in receipt of the 2008 Pace Award for “Light Pipe Innovation”. His work is referenced in Automotive Lighting and Human Vision, Springer Books December 2006.

Mr. Arundale has 22 Years experience in engineering; 17 years experience directly related to vehicle lighting. His lighting career began at North American Lighting and continued with several Tier 1 Automotive Lighting suppliers including Koito, Ichikoh, Schefenacker, Hella and Visteon. His experience includes roles in many key cross functional teams as Quality Engineer, Project Engineer, Lead Program Manager, Program Engineering Manager, Customer Liaison, and New Business Development Manager. He has managed lighting programs both domestically and internationally in Europe & Japan on multiple ex-patriot assignments. In January 2008 he co-founded LED Optical solutions as the Managing Director of Engineering.
RECOGNITION

Mr. Erion has 39 Years experience in automotive design and engineering; 27 years experience directly related to vehicle lighting. His career began at Ford Motor Company and continued with Visteon Corporation. For 17 years he directed the Advanced Lighting Department globally for Ford and Visteon. In 2005 he began consulting with major automotive related suppliers in engineering and regulatory matters and was the spokesperson for the Motor Vehicle Lighting Council. In late 2008 he joined LED Optical solutions as the Director of Research and Development.
RECOGNITION
In 1984 Mr. Erion received the Ford Motor Technology Award for his leadership in developing the first composite aerodynamic headlamp system for the 1984 Lincoln Mark VII. He has received numerous other awards for his engineering accomplishments since then along with 26 patents primarily in LED related technologies. In April of 2006, he received the Arch T. Colwell Cooperative Engineering Medal from the Society of Engineers for his contribution to the vehicle lighting industry.

Ms. Wheeler has 27 Years experience in Executive Leadership, Commercial Team Management, Purchasing and Sales in the lighting, integrated steel and automotive industries; 8 years experience directly related to lighting. Her career began at National Steel in 1984 and continued with Visteon Corporation in 2001. In 2005, she directed global commercial activities for lighting and has conducted business in Korea, China, India, Germany, Canada and Mexico. While with National Steel, she progressed through many roles including Manager Automotive Sales and Market Manager Automotive conducting business in Germany, Belgium, Canada and the US. Paula has extensive executive leadership training and educational credentials. She joined LED Optical Solutions in late 2008 and now serves in the role of Director, Sales & Marketing.

In 2nd quarter 2006, Paula received Visteon’s “Leading the Way” recognition award for her work on the “Monterrey Lighting Plant Acquisition Team”. EXPERIENCE
Michael is currently Assistant Treasurer at a Tier One Automotive supplier, were he is responsible for foreign exchange, capital markets, risk management activities and serves as the primary interface to the capital markets and credit rating agencies. He has led debt offerings and syndicated asset lending structures totaling over $2.0 Billion. He also serves on the Boards of numerous wholly owned and minority owned subsidiaries providing advice and counsel on numerous operational and cash flow issues.
From 2005 to 2007, Michael was Director of Mergers and Acquisitions, where he implemented acquisitions and divestitures of nine businesses in five countries, transactions ranging in size from $10 to $300 million. From 2000 to 2005, he was responsible for foreign exchange strategy, capital structure, funding and capitalization of new and existing joint ventures worldwide. From 1994-2000, Michael held a number of positions with increasing responsibility at Ford Motor Company in their Management Information Systems area, in the Corporate Finance Staff group, primarily focused in Corporate Forecast/Budgeting and Manufacturing Financial Performance.
